To this day, it’s one of my favorite comics of all time and it was a shame that it slowly went out of print, making it hard for new people to check it out. I thought this deserved some kind of review even though i've only seen the first few episodes of the anime on YouTube. Nonetheless, he considered such an ending to be expected, since "as ambitious and complicated and just plain huge as Monster is, no conclusion is going to be entirely satisfactory.

Porque Monster está lleno de personajes maravillosos que nos acompañan unas pocas páginas y que reaparecen o no, pero cuyas historias llegan para permanecer en el recuerdo.Take the beginning of Monster, for example: the book starts out with a conflict between Kenzo and his hospital's director. Seller sent a message indicating that shipment would be delayed by one day due to Memorial Day — much appreciated. Writing both Monster and 20th Century Boys at the same time caused him to be briefly hospitalized for exhaustion. This is a fantastic setup to what seems to lead into a cat and mouse serial killer story, and I really enjoyed the journey Tenma takes to reach a point where he’s determined to catch the killer. Tenma sets out on a journey to find the killer’s twin sister, who may hold some clues to solving the enigma of the “Monster.

For people who own the original volumes and are thinking of upgrading to the new editions, don’t do it unless some of the enhancements above sound appealing to you. Naoki Urasawa weaves a gripping narrative filled with suspense, intricate character development, and thought-provoking social commentary, making it a standout work in the world of manga. Tenma is suspected by the police, particularly BKA Inspector Lunge, and he tries to find more information about Johan. One of the great things about this manga is that it poses these and many more questions but doesn't declare any answers as definite. Fiquei com a certeza de que os outros mangas que estava a ler vão ficar para trás até à conclusão deste! It doesn’t take away from anything mind you, but I’m just a bit confused by why some of the artwork was cut off around the edges. INTERVIEW: All You Need is a White Piece of Paper and Pen: A Conversation with Monster and 20th Century Boys Creator Naoki Urasawa". Japon kültürünü alıp Almanya'ya getirmek ve orada kendine has bir gerilim, polisiye, gizem yaratmak iyi fikir. Director Heinemann and the other doctors in Tenma's way are mysteriously murdered, and both children disappear from the hospital.

It is obviously setting up the story and does it in a way that filled me with intrigue and a sigh of disappointment when I got to the end. I mean, it becomes clear what's going on fairly quickly and this tome is more about introducing all the elements that will move forward in the next tome, but maybe you don't want to know anything at all in which case stop reading now. I didn't connect much to the characters, but the plot was so fast-moving and crazy stuff kept happening, that I really enjoyed myself. As this series is 18 volumes long, and so far has never lost its knack for keeping me enticed and excited since the first volume, I can honestly say that it is one of the best series's that I have ever read and could not recommend it more to anyone. If you are looking for a break from the usual fighting big sword blasting mecha type of Manga and want a deep and dark psychological thriller then MONSTER is for you. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Just about every single character in this comic is different looking from each other, with their eyes, facial structures, body types, hair, noses, and more. Admittedly, some plot points may seem a bit odd, but they do generally end up making sense as more and more is revealed as the series goes on. Writing for Time, Pulitzer Prize for Fiction winner Junot Díaz praised the manga, proclaiming "Urasawa is a national treasure in Japan, and if you ain't afraid of picture books, you'll see why".
